ISLM@Bal Bharati Public School, Rohini, New Delhi

We at Bal Bharati Public School, Rohini always encourage our students to read. In order to inculcate the reading habits, we conducted various activities to involve our readers.

“ Today’s Reader, Tomorrow Leader”.

  • The Bookfair was organized By Scholastic India in school premises. It was a huge success.
  • There was a storytelling session for class II By a storyteller Ms. Nikita Dutta Gupta. It was a wonderful session and tiny tots enjoyed thoroughly.
  • The interactive session on creative writing was conducted by Ms. Smriti Ashra(an alumnus of our school) for the members of Wordsmiths club( Readers club of BBPS Rohini). The various activities such as story building, enactment of a scene ad dialogue writing were conducted.
  • The book club for school students was also done by Scholastic India.

Reading not only has tremendous power when it comes to fueling the development of all aspects of language ability, its importance to the entirety of human life in this day and age really can’t be overstated.
