Raghavan, Member-Secretary, Sarada Ranganathan Endowment for Library Science (SRELS) to participate in a brainstorming session on new National Education Policy on 31 August 2020. The SRELS has proposed to submit a memorandum to the Ministry of Education, Government of India on behalf of the Endowment. The Jarul Book Award is a one-of-a-kind award in Asia that honors the Indian authors of children’s picture books.  As a true children’s choice award, the award empowers children: the picture books are reviewed, selected, nominated, and voted only by young students from 5-11 years of age.
